Annagine story
The original boat was based on the smaller classics of the 1930s and 1940s, like Stormy Weather,’ says Eric Wassen, naval architect at Dykstra & Partners. She had no coamings or superstructure.The owner wanted the same concept but sleeker and more sporty; the 76 was slightly tame and more easy going, but the 110 feet Annagine is much more aggressive.
The result is a sailing yacht built to the highest Dutch standards. A yacht which can be used for worldwide cruising while at the same time able to compete in regatta's.

NAMOUSSA NORDIA 65' CRUISERThis performance cruiser was built in 2006 in aluminium by the Dutch shipyard Royal Van Dam, and was designed by Robert van Dam.
The vessel was built for a very experienced owner, who had one aspect in mind during the build: short handed cruising.
Despite her length of 20 meters (almost 67 feet), the yacht is easy to handle with only two crew. During navigation, all sailing equipment can be handled from the cockpit. Safety comes first.

Namoussa story
Namoussa was built by the shipyard Royal Van Dam, which was established since 1881.The shipyard builds custom and semi custom yachts to the highest "Dutch level". The Namoussa was based on the semi-custom concept of the Nordia 65' Performance Cruiser.
The vessel was built for the current owner who is a very experienced yachtsman; the Namoussa is his seventh sailing yacht. The vessel had to be strong, well-built and suitable for long range cruising and short-handed sailing.

The galley is very well equipped with al the necessities to make long range cruising possible. The hand built interior is finished in cherry wood.

Marmalade of Manchester story
The 21.35 metre Marmalade of Manchester was built for the current owner who decided to start this project after his experience with a serial built 55 feet sailing yacht.
The 21.35 metre Marmalade of Manchester, the first yacht in this new series, is very obviously strikingly different from any of her predecessors.
Originally designed by Robert Van Dam together with head of the design department Robin Ten Hoope, Marmalade’s hull is slimmer, has a longer waterline and most noticeably more width at the stern.
Van Dam Nordia uses procedures that have been tried and trusted over years. Instead of starting with a rough specification with few details, the shipyard presents a complete inventory for a luxurious, fully equipped bluewater sailing yacht. Generally speaking, extras do not become necessary at a later stage. This was certainly the case for Marmalade of Manchester, whose name as well as the colour combination of metallic orange (hull and leather upholstery), metallic silver(superstructure) and black (mast and boom) was chosen by the owner. The light blue and white shown on the shipyard sketch was too conventional for him, as were the chocks that the shipyard had planned. He had these replaced with elegant and simple Nomen chocks. But that was about all he changed.

DAMSTUK ROYAL VAN DAM NORDIA 49' CRUISERBuilt in 1989 by the Royal Van Dam shipyard in Holland, this vessel was partly rebuilt and refitted in 2007-08 under the supervision of the designer and builder Robert Van Dam himself.
This 49 feet semi-custom built sailing yacht has all the qualities of a superyacht. The yacht has been designed and engineered to the highest standard, making use of the best materials. Both the original design and the rebuild and refit have been very well considered.
The vessel has an aluminum hull and superstructure. She accommodates six persons on board in an owner’s cabin aft and a unique four person family cabin forward.

Damstuk story
Sailing yacht Damstuk was built in 1989 by the Dutch shipyard Royal Van Dam Nordia, established since 1881.The vessel was acquired by the shipyard from the first owner in 2006 and had a major refit in 2007-08, including an Awl-Grip paintjob. In addition, the vessel has been profoundly upgraded (see the list of upgrades under Specifications).
Damstuk has not been used since the refit and is in an as new condition.
Due to circumstances the vessel is for sale. This provides you with a unique opportunity to purchase a vessel that was rebuilt by the owner of the shipyard for his own use.
